Who We Are
We are dedicated to responding to our community in times of need, providing quality fire, medical and special hazard services all the while educating and working to prevent future disasters.
We expect our members to be leaders in our community in the areas of fire, emergency medical services, technical rescue, hazardous materials, and other incident responses. We provide non-emergency services to the community while actively participating in public safety, fire prevention, and public affairs. Our goal is to offer a safe environment with high-level training for our members, promoting unity within the department and inclusion for all.

Health, dental, and vision insurance for the entire family is paid for by the department. Multiple retirement investment plans are offered in addition to participating in the Kentucky State Retirement Plan. We provided several other insurances polices such as cancer, life, short- and long-term disability. We aim to support our members as they move through normal life by providing benefits including College Tuition Reimbursement and Paternity Leave.
