These factors place First Responders at a much higher risk of developing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. PTSD is considered a work-related injury.

The Fern Creek Fire & EMS Peer Support team is a group of trained individuals within our organization. They are prepared to answer calls for help, regardless of the need. They are peers who can relate to your situation because they have likely been through something similar. They can help guide towards the resources available.
